We offer a variety of fee types, tailored to suit your needs. Our ideal client is the small business that needs help and our prices try to reflect that. Prices are subject to change and do not include client expenses such as filing fees or postage costs.
Standard hourly rates
This is similar to the classic law firm fee agreement, where the hourly rates are billed to you as work is done on your case. Our firm is unique since we don’t require a retainer – amounts due are invoiced every two weeks. Our standard hourly rate is $250 per hour – $350 per hour. The exact rate will be presented at the consultation. Factors for higher rates include:
- Little time before important deadlines – (Appeals, Tax Court, levy/garnishment, etc.)
- High complexity – (tax issues spanning multiple businesses/complex business structures, international tax issues, tax evasion/fraud issues, etc.)
- Medium size business or larger – (over 20 employees)
Flat fee agreements
Knowing exactly what you pay is important. Once the fee is paid in full, you’re done paying, no matter how long the issue takes. Our flat fees are broken up by progress milestones – you don’t have to pay the full amount up front. If your case type isn’t mentioned below, feel free to contact us for a free consultation.
- Flat fees for audits vary between $4,000 and $10,000, depending on the complexity of the case. These prices do not include appeals.
- Offers-in-Compromise typically run between $3,000 and $8,000, depending on the complexity of the Offer and whether we need to get you into filing compliance with the IRS.
- IRS Appeals generally are between $1,000 and $2,000, although not all appeals are fit for flat fees.
Unbundled Legal Services
Fixed fees for a la carte services that don’t include direct representation. This is similar to when you don’t need the mechanic, but you want the parts to fix the car yourself. Below are the most common unbundled services. If you don’t see what you are looking for, feel free to contact us.
